Precautions when using honeycomb cookware

Release time:2025-01-06

The honeycomb pot is a new type of pot with an uncoated mesh structure on the bottom of the pot. The pot wall is etched with fine concave and convex textures. The protruding parts form an uncoated honeycomb mesh structure. The non-stick layer only covers the concave parts of the texture, which effectively improves the problem of easy peeling of the coating. Although the pot is good, it also needs maintenance. Some precautions when using it can help you use the pot better and extend the service life of the product.
(1) Pots cannot store acidic foods for a long time
As we all know, acidic substances easily corrode metal bodies. Once the body is corroded, it will expand, thereby expanding the coating and causing large areas of coating to fall off. Many of the foods we eat daily are acidic foods, including various meats, eggs, white sugar, rice, etc.
(2) The use temperature should be limited to below 250℃
The national mandatory standard stipulates that polytetrafluoroethylene is used as the main raw material and a certain amount of additives to form a polytetrafluoroethylene coating, which is applied to the surface of metals such as aluminum and iron plates and sintered at high temperature as an anti-stick coating that contacts non-acidic food containers. The use temperature is limited to below 250℃. (3) Do not use a shovel, beware of damage
Using a shovel can easily damage the coating. Before using a KAMBAH cookware, check whether the coating has fallen off to avoid serious consequences.
